Membership Update

It’s Membership Renewal Season!

The 2021 Membership Renewal Season is underway and ICF Global will be sending out email communications that affirm the value and benefits of ICF Membership and invite you to rejoin ICF for another year.

We encourage you to renew, indicate that Calgary is your affiliate chapter and continue to support the growth of our amazingly diverse and talented group of local coaches while continuing to receive the benefits of being a Calgary Chapter member.

Our Calgary Chapter Board volunteers have LOVED all of the opportunities to connect with you online this past year. Quite frankly, I don’t know what I would have done without on-going development, quality peer interactions, and fun and engaging networking events.

Our #1 priority is you. We are here to answer any questions you may have, receive your feedback, and to support you and your growing coaching business in any way we can.

Your support makes a difference!

Susan McGuire, Membership Director, ICF Calgary

I am excited for the upcoming Board nomination process. Serving on the Board has been such a tremendous benefit to me as a professional coach. Here are some valuable reasons why you should consider applying:

  • Build relationships and learn from other professional coaches.
  • Become more connected to ICF Global and the global community of coaches.
  • Gain greater understanding of the coaching market and future of coaching.
  • Grow your network strategically and intentionally.

While serving on this board does require commitment and hard work, the valuable investment you make is rewarding. You can expect to spend 8-10 hours per month working with the Board if you are nominated. Here are some ways you will contribute:

  • Attend monthly meetings and chapter events (for free!) to represent the Board.
  • Contribute to the topics, conversations, and value proposition of our chapter.
  • Lead, manage and contribute to projects.
  • Offer your ideas, passions, and experiences to add value.

Your life will be enriched by serving! I speak from experience! If you are interested in being nominated you can contact the Nominations Committee Chair, Kerry Black, at [email protected]
