We Need Your Help Immediately!
This news article is intended to solicit your proxy vote for the 2017 ICF Calgary Board of Directors and it is very important that you take this action if you are unable to attend the meeting on November 17 when the election will take place. This only takes a minute but ensures a smooth transition to the 2017 Board of Directors. We need a quorum of members to vote in order for the election to be valid. Thank you for completing this process – details follow below.
We need your vote for the 2017 ICF Calgary Board of Directors. This is essential under our bylaws. Without enough votes, we can’t establish a board and everything grinds to a halt!
If you are attending the November 17th Event, you will take a few minutes in the middle of a fun evening to cast your vote. If you will not be attending on Nov. 17th, or if there is any chance you will not attend, please read the proxy information that follows. Then download and complete the Provision of Proxy Form and email it to email@example.com (Don’t worry about voting twice if you later decide to attend. We will cross-check).
After careful review of all nominated members, the Nomination Committee has put forward the slate listed below. Andy Kinmonth, Kerry Black, Nadine Ryan-Bannerman, and Lisa Rapley are returning to complete the second year of their term, therefore do not require election.
Please note that the roles of Communications and IT Director and Programs Director remain open. President Tracey Martin welcomes the opportunity to speak with any additional candidates for these roles who come forward prior to the end of the year. When the 2017 Board of Directors begins their work in January, they will have the opportunity to appoint an individual to each of these positions, to keep the positions open or to re-structure the Board positions as needed to best need the needs of our membership.
Next year’s Board will be a strong blend of established and new members. Help us get them in place by voting at the Event on Nov. 17th, or by submitting your proxy today.
