Terms of Reference

Established in fall 2015, the ICF Calgary Charter Chapter is pleased to offer the Diane Bonneau Coach Development Scholarship. Diane Bonneau, MCC, is an individual who is well known within the ICF Global community and is a very active member of our Calgary Charter Chapter. This award is intended to acknowledge the exceptional contributions she has made, and continues to make, to our community.

Valued at $500 (CDN), this scholarship is intended to support the ongoing professional development of Calgary-based coaches, to expand their knowledge around core coaching competencies and related areas of study. It will be awarded annually at the Annual General Meeting (typically scheduled each year in November) to an active ICF Credentialed Member, who has demonstrated engagement in either/both the Calgary coaching community or at the ICF Global level.

Application Deadline: October 14, 2017

Selection Criteria:

  • Award recipient must be a credentialed (ACC, PCC, MCC) International Coach Federation (ICF) Member in good standing at the time of award application. Preference will be given to ICF Calgary Chapter Community Members.
  • Demonstrated engagement in the Calgary coaching community
  • Applicability of training to furthering coaching skills
  • Developed plan for sharing learnings with the ICF Calgary Charter Chapter community after completion of the course/program.
  • Board members are not eligible for the award during their term.


  • Award recipient will be invited to share their learnings with the larger ICF Calgary Charter Chapter community once their course/program is completed, either by delivering a session, providing a brief update at a scheduled event, creating a blog entry to be shared with the membership, or otherwise.
  • Award will be given to a successful applicant for a training program scheduled in the upcoming year. Awards will not be given for training that occurs before the award selection is completed.
  • The amount of the award ($500) will not exceed the cost of the training applied for.


The Scholarship Selection Committee reserves the right to not grant the award in a particular year if they do not receive an appropriate application from a qualified applicant and/or if funding is not available (to be determined by the Board).
